Privacy Policy

Hi! This is the privacy policy for Amelia’s Muffins, a tiny roadside stand operated by BuzzwordMojo LLC. Amelia is 8 — her dad (Bob Mattax) runs the legal and online side of the business. If anything here is confusing, email bob@buzzwordmojo.com and a grown-up will help.

Who we are

BuzzwordMojo LLC operates this website and the muffin stand at the end of the driveway. When this policy says “we” or “us”, that’s us.

What we collect

• Account info when you sign in (your name and email). We use Clerk to handle sign-in, so when you sign in with Google or Facebook, Clerk receives a basic profile from those services on our behalf. You can also sign in with an email + password.
• Order info — what you ordered, your pickup time, and an optional phone number if you give us one.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe (or Venmo, or cash at pickup). We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

• To get your muffins ready for pickup.
• To match you to your order when you show up at the stand.
• To send you pickup notifications (only if you give us a phone number).
• To improve recipes, baking quantities, and pickup logistics.

Who else sees it

We use these services to run the stand, and they each see only the data they need:

• Clerk — handles your account and sign-in
• Convex — stores your account and order data
• Stripe — handles payment if you pay online
• Vercel — hosts the website
• Facebook / Google — only if you sign in using one of those, and only what those services share back as a basic profile (name + email)

We don’t sell your information to anyone. Ever.

Cookies and sessions

Clerk uses cookies to keep you signed in. We don’t run advertising trackers or sell analytics data.

How long we keep your info

We keep your account and order history until you ask us to delete it. If the stand winds down at the end of the season, we may keep aggregate info (total muffins sold, etc.) but we’ll delete personal data on request.

How to delete your data

Email bob@buzzwordmojo.comwith the subject “delete my account” and we’ll remove your data within 30 days. If you signed in with Facebook and want to disconnect, you can also remove our app from your Facebook settings; let us know if you also want your data deleted.

About kids

Amelia (the baker) is 8. The ordering side of this site is meant for grown-ups buying muffins. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you’re a parent and you think your kid signed up, email us and we’ll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important, we’ll update the effective date at the top and try to give a heads-up on the homepage.
